That's my name, don't wear it out...Recently I have been visiting the DA chat rooms and the forums a bit more often than I usually do, you know, just to get out and about in this community and check out some new art. And there have been a lot of people, quite a lot actually, who seem to think my name
(=stupidgirl) is hilarious. I come into a chat room and immediately someone will make a comment, or occasionally someone may make the connection to the song, though usually people associate it with the wrong "Stupid Girl" song
(by Garbage instead of Cold).
I know, I know this is my fault for choosing such a silly deviant art name way back in the day. But really, I'm almost to a point where when I enter a chat room, I will announce to the world:
Yes my name is stupidgirl. Yes it's rather humorous. Yes, it's from the song. No, not that one, the song by Cold. No, I'm not actually an idiot. Yes I have a brain. I would like to have a conversation about something other than my name, may we continue?
Haha, can you imagine if I did that really? Ah, whatever. I've had my rant, that should be good enough for me.
I haven't been submitting anything recently, even though I have been wanting to. But I bought myself a little present the other day with some left over money from the holidays. It should be arriving within 7-10 days and maybe then I'll have some new works to show. I'm not going to give away the secret yet. But I'm pretty excited and cannot wait to try it out!
